I am part of a project called Metacognate. We are a group of musicians assembled by Nathan Wilson, who writes and composes progressive metal music. We perform regularly around Chicago, including a fundraiser at Billy Corgan’s tea shop, Madame Zuzu’s, and at Gallagher Way at Wrigley Field. We recorded our first album, In the Wake of Insomnia, in the summer of 2023. Metacognate features Nate Wilson (bass guitar, vocals, composition), Richard Heller (guitar), Gabe Kuchan (guitar and vocals), Vince Lohnes (drums), and me on vocals.
